where the meeting will be held is about five
kilometres north-west of the city centre, very close to the airport
'Amerigo Vespucci'.
From the centre of Florence or train station Santa Maria Novella: You have two possibilities: 1) Take bus number 57 (be careful: don't take 57A). See the map for the bus stops. There is a bus every about 15 minutes. Get out in via Madonna del Piano at the bus stop named "CNR" that is located just in front of Area della Ricerca del CNR. 2)Take a taxi and ask for: Area della Ricerca del CNR in the Polo Scientifico of Sesto Fiorentino (about 20 minutes , cost about 20 euro). Here you can find a map to show to the taxi driver. From Florence airport 'Amerigo Vespucci': Florence airport is about 5 minutes by car far from the Conference Center . The only way to reach the Conference Center is by taxi (cost about 10 euro). Ask for: Area della Ricerca del CNR in the Polo Scientifico of Sesto Fiorentino |
